Previously on "The L Word". . .

L.A. is in the middle of a heat wave and is experiencing rolling blackouts, which affects the set of "Lez Girls." Before they wrap because of the blackouts, Niki is acting strange towards Jenny and has a sex scene with Greg, the actor who plays Tim. Jenny gets upset because Niki is enjoying the sex scene but the script calls for her to not enjoy it. Jenny realizes that Niki has slept with Greg and then fires Greg.

Adele gets William, the rich guy financing the movie, on the phone, to talk to Jenny. He calms her down and she tells the rest of the people on the set that she's sorry and that she's going to rehire Greg.

Bette tells Jodi that her and Tina are seeing a therapist because they have some areas that they are disagreeing on when it comes to parenting Angelica. Jodi tries to start stuff with Bette, who puts her off by saying it's too hot. Jodi asks Bette what's wrong and Bette tells her that she's in love with Tina--but says it with her back turned to Jodi so Jodi doesn't "hear" it. Then she chickens out and says that she's unhappy with work and that she doesn't want to burden Jodi with it.

Tina talks to Sam, who tells her that she's going to step away because it's obvious that her and Bette have something going on. She does tell Tina that it wasn't obvious to everyone at the dinner and that she feels bad for Jodi.

Jenny writes a love letter to Niki and asks Adele to read it and give it to her and to tell Niki to meet her on the set. Jenny is going to wait until Niki comes to find her but Shane tells her that it's weak and encourages her to go to the SheBar mafia meeting.

At the SheBar meeting, the gals are frisked as they're let in and they have to show their invitations. The insults fly and finally Bette gets them all to shut up and asks Dawn what she wants. Dawn says that she wants turf and they decide who gets what nights. Of course that's not all Dawn wants--she also wants restitution in the form of Lover Cindy being in Jenny's movie with a mention of SheBar. Jenny agrees that Lover Cindy can have a small part. Dawn also wants Alice to give a shout-out on "The Look" for SheBar and Alice says no but says that she can mention both the Planet and SheBar on her podcast. Everyone agrees and Kit and Dawn shake on it.

At the Planet, Max and Alice are doing a podcast, with Shane behind the camera, for the purpose of Alice apologizing to Max for the hateful comments she's been making as she got blasted by someone else in the community for making them. Shane isn't doing a good job of filming as she's focusing the camera all over the place and gets totally distracted when Molly and her ex-boyfriend come up and start talking to her.

Bette is at the Planet and Kit realizes that the coffee Bette ordered wasn't for Jodi and Bette says it's for Tina and that they're going to therapy for parenting issues. That's not flying with Kit and Kit tells Bette not to do that to Jodi.

Tom stops by the Planet and asks Max out on a date, which Max accepts. Later on that evening, they hook up.

Tina and Bette get stuck in the elevator on the way up to their therapist's office as the power goes out. Bette starts freaking out at first and Tina calms her down. They have a mini-therapy session in the elevator and Bette tells Tina that she loves her. Tina thinks all of the feelings are because they're not together and says that they're having an affair and Bette tells her that deep in her heart that it doesn't feel like an affair, that it feels like she's coming home.

Molly calls Shane and asks her to come over because she's scared because the lights keep flickering and they go out altogether while they're on the phone. Once Shane gets over there, Molly confesses that she wants to have sex with Shane. They wind up doing the deed and Phyllis walks in on them. Molly and Phyllis argue about Shane's education and Shane overhears Molly telling Phyllis that she likes Shane because Shane's easy and simple.

Niki shows up at Jenny's house, which is dark from the blackout and gushes on about the love letter and starts kissing Adele, who she thinks is Jenny. The lights come on and Niki is shocked and says that Jenny can't find out about it and apologizes, saying that in the dark, Adele looks like Jenny. Niki finds Jenny at the set and they make up.

Next week: It's the big breast cancer race and Tina isn't happy that Niki and Jenny are at it together. Shane tries to keep away from Molly.
