Jodi and Shane go bike riding as training for the breast cancer race. Shane talks to Jodi about Molly and wonders if there isn't some confusion about her being straight. Jodi says that maybe she's a "spaghetti girl"--which means she's straight until she gets wet.
Niki's agents are flipping out as she's on the cover of some tabloids because of the Turkish oil wrestling incident at SheBar. Tina and the manager, Kevin, decide to have Greg, the guy who plays Tim on "Lez Girls," to take Niki to the premiere of her new movie.
Tina goes to tell Jenny about the decision and Jenny is talking to the wardrobe gal and puts Tina off twice. Finally, Tina tells her that she has to talk to her *now* and Jenny says that "mom's calling." Jenny has a huge chow mark on her neck--yuck. After Tina tells Jenny what's going on, Jenny goes back to Niki's trailer and finds her crying about having to go to the premiere with Greg and Jenny is upset when she learns who Niki is going with. Kevin comes out and starts in on Jenny and how she's ruining Niki's career. Jenny makes a rude remark about Kevin's purple tie and then says that she "will not continue this conversation until you remove that snot that's dangling from your nose." She tells Kevin that it's distracting.
The actress who is playing Shane comes into the hair dressing area and wants to get drunk and have sex with Shane to help her in her role. Shane reminds her that she's "gay for pay" but the actress pulls her shirt off and starts kissing Shane. Another actress walks in on them and looks jealous.
Bette comes home and learns that Jodi has invited Tina and Sam to the dinner they're having (Jodi's ex and her girlfriend are coming as well as Shane and possibly Molly). Bette is upset that Jodi didn't ask her first and expresses some concern about being best friends with the exes and how it could be a nightmare lesbian dinner. Jodi tells her that she doesn't have to come but Bette says that she will.
The Planet is open again and SheBar is temporarily shut down. Molly and Phyllis are there having lunch and Molly is telling her mother that she is taking a break from school to figure out what she wants and that she broke up with her boyfriend. Phyllis is less than thrilled about Molly dropping out of school and says that uneducated people wind up in the service business like Shane (earth to Phyllis--it doesn't matter what education level you have or what profession you're in--we're all in the service business in some way, shape or form). Molly calls her mother an elitist and leaves to go and talk to Shane, saying that she's going to "go gay for Shane."
Bette talks to Tina about how she shouldn't have accepted the invitation for dinner and Tina says that she thought it came from both her and Jodi. Tina says that she doesn't want to break the two of them up and Bette responds with, "What if I do?" Tina asks her if that's what she wants to do and Bette says she's not sure but she feels that they can't continue doing what they've been doing and that Bette feels she's not setting a good example for their daughter.
It's the night of Niki's movie premiere and Niki's manager sees Jenny coming with Adele and tells the bouncer not to let Jenny in. Jenny shows the bouncer her invitation and the bouncer takes it. Adele says she'll go in to find Niki and tell her what's going on and totally eats up walking down the red carpet getting her picture taken. Inside, Adele is busy talking to people and when Jenny texts her asking what's going on, she says that she can't get to Niki because there's too many people around her and tells Jenny to continue waiting. Jenny waits outside the entire time and when people start leaving, Adele is next to Niki and tells her to kiss Greg and Jenny sees it and gets upset. Adele comforts Jenny and they leave.
At Jodi and Bette's dinner party, Shane and Molly decide to go outside for a smoke. Jodi, Bette, and Jodi's ex and her girlfriend, all start commenting on the two of them in sign language and Tina interrupts and asks about the food. Bette apologizes and says that they didn't mean to exclude Tina and Sam and Tina responds with, "Yes you did." Later on, Tina and Bette are in the kitchen by themselves and almost start kissing and Bette suggests that they go back to their former counselor to figure out what's going on between them and then the others return, breaking up their moment.
Outside, Shane and Molly talk and Shane tells Molly that she's not trying to do anything to get her to sleep with her, that she just likes talking to her. Molly is shocked that Shane doesn't want to sleep with her but Shane tells her that she's thought about it but she knows that Molly would freak out if they did and run back to her boyfriend and that Shane would be left behind. Molly kisses Shane and it gets pretty heated and then Molly pulls away and asks Shane to take her home. Molly apologizes and says she shouldn't have done that and Shane responds with, "That's what I'm talking about."
Tasha's at the gym and so is the colonel who is the prosecutor of her case. When both are in the locker room and another woman walks in, both heads turn. . .
At Tasha's hearing, the colonel gets one of Tasha's witnesses to cave. When Alice gets called to the stand, she gets asked if she's had sexual relations with Tasha and Alice responds with how she doesn't want to take part in a witch hunt and says that talking to a lesbian doesn't make one a lesbian and says that she could say the same thing about the colonel and says that she noticed how the colonel had been looking at her in the hall. A recess is called and the colonel goes and talks to Alice, obviously worried that Alice is going to out her. She tells Alice to tell Tasha to just answer truthfully about the day at the horse track and that all will be well and asks Alice for reassurance that she, the colonel, doesn't have to watch her back. Alice tells Tasha all of this and when Tasha is called to the stand, it's obvious that she's going to get off the hook but then Tasha says that she no longer supports the military code about how they can go and fight for personal freedom for others but that they don't have it themselves. She informs the court that she loves Alice and winds up leaving the military. Outside, it's a true "Office and a Woman" scene as Tasha runs to find Alice and tell her that she loves her. Beech and the colonel wish Tasha luck and Alice and Tasha start kissing and some observers give a thumbs up and others are rather shocked.
Next week: Bette tells Jodi that she's in love with Tina. Shane and Molly look like they're going to hook up. There seems to be some sabbatoge going on the set.
