Previously on "The L Word". . .
One of the movie guys is demanding that there be more sex in "Le Girls." Tina and Jenny are in somewhat of an agreement as to what will and won't work with the various matchings of the characters that the movie guy is suggesting--although for different reasons.
Tina has a lunch date and spends the entire time talking to the gal about Angelica and Bette, with a lot of emphasis on Bette. Bette comes into the Planet and Tina introduces her to her date and Bette invites them over to the table where she's going to have lunch with the rest of the gang. Tina's date takes it as an opportunity to leave and tells Tina that she's got some things to figure out and declines Tina's suggestion for getting together again.
The gang thinks that it was Paige who burned down Wax. Alice thinks the situation with Shane and women is escalating as it used to be that someone would leave the room crying when Shane came in, now it's arson, what will be next? Jodi's interpreter is there and is eying Max. He wonders if Max is gay and Alice and Bette chuckle and say that he used to be and Tom, the interpreter, isn't following and they inform him that he used to be a lesbian.
Meanwhile, Max has his eyes on a gal in the Planet who is reading Jenny's book. Kit introduces the two of them and Adele is a huge Jenny fan. Jenny shows up at the Planet, acting all Hollywood-like, and Kit makes her take some time to meet Adele, even though Jenny says she doesn't have time because she's got to go the wedding of the daughter of the guy who is financing her movie. She winds up roping Adele into helping her with her errands and later offers the job of being her assistant to Adele, who is thoroughly excited at the opportunity.
Phyllis tells Joyce that she wants to see other people. Joyce isn't okay with that and flips out when she learns that a friend of a friend has asked Phyllis out. She tells Phyllis to think long and hard because she doesn't want to do anything that she will regret later.
Over at the jail, Helena is taking a shower and does drop the soap. One of the inmates, Jackie, asks her if anyone told her about not dropping the soap and pulls a knife on her. Helena's cellmate, Dusti, tells Jackie and her crew that Helena is with her and they back off. Later, Kit comes to visit Helena in jail and Helena learns the lingo from Kit (e.g. "clique up" and "she's with me"). Later on, Dusti has a nightmare and Helena comforts her. Dusti thinks she's being attacked in her sleep and when she realizs she's not, her and Helena hook up, during which Helena learns that Dusti has never killed anyone and that she's in jail for some sort of fraud.
Tasha talks to a military lawyer, who turns on her when he learns that she's being investigated about homosexual conduct. Alice is trying real hard to be supportive but doesn't fully understand why Tasha wants to be a part of something that denies her of being herself. They double date with Bette and Jodi and Tasha doesn't want Alice to be telling them th reason why she's not in Iraq. When Bette and Jodi start making out at the dinner table (as in, "take it to a hotel room"), Alice spills the beans and Tasha gets mad. They go off and talk and wind up apologzing to each other (hey, a healthy fight--how about that? I hope the writers let these two stay together) and come back to find Phyllis and Joyce in their seats. Alice and Tasha leave, much to the dismay of Bette and Jodi who really don't feel like having to talk to Phyllis and Joyce.
Shane got a gig doing the hair of the wedding party of the guy, Willie, who is financing Jenny's movie. The sisters of the bride are quite taken with Shane, who ends up with each of them. Later on during the wedding reception, Shane asks Tina if there's anyone there she thinks is cute and Tina tells her that it's the straightest wedding reception she's been to and no lesbian is going to get laid there. Later on, Shane gets a note from the mother of the bride and goes to her room and they get it on but get interupted by the two daughters, who are not only grossed out but get upset when they learn that each of them had been with Shane that day. Shane makes a quick exit and all 3 of them chase after her.
Next week: Shane makes a shocking decision. Helena gets sprung from jail--her mom's back in town. Kit is robbed at the Planet. Tina gets some loving.
