Previously, on The L Word. . .
Tina met with Bette at the Planet to talk about the baby. Bette says that she's thinking about going back to therapy for herself. Let's hope she keeps an open mind about it and not go into it like last time, thinking that she doesn't need it. Helena shows up during the meeting and makes it sound like her and Tina are looking for a place together.
Carmen tells Jenny that she thinks that Jenny has a crush on her writing teacher. Carmen encourages Jenny to "totally go for it" and realizes that Jenny wants Carmen to be jealous about it.
Mark and his buddy meet with a film producer trying to sell their lesbian film. Mark's buddy and the film producer are thinking it's going to be a sex film but Mark looks at it as something more artistic.
Dana and Alice try to get back to work after 5 days of bliss.
Helena joins the CAC's (the museum that Bette works at) board of directors. After hearing the news, we see Bette stress eating (wouldn't it be nice if this show was a little more realistic about such things and actually show Bette putting on the pounds?)
Helena's ex, Winnie, asks Bette to be a character witness when Winnie goes to court to fight for custody of the kids. During their conversation, Bette drops an f-bomb in front of Winnie's kids. She'll need to start cleaning up her language for when the baby is born.
Carmen and Shane have it out. Shane says that Carmen's responsible for her black eye. Carmen realizes that Shane means something by that comment and wants to talk it out by Shane doesn't want to and says that they need to just go back to being friends. Later, Shane goes to confession (it's a Catholic thing) and tells the priest that everyone wants something from her but that she has nothing left to give. She tells the priest that she's been giving sex and that's what people want from her.
Tina and Helena invite everyone to a house warming party but no one shows up. Helena is not happy about that. Instead, everyone goes over to Bette's for "family night."
Jenny loses a job as a writer because she's gay. We didn't have a Jenny writing scene this week for a change.
Alice runs into her ex, Gabby, who's in love with Dana's ex, Laura. I think Laura is the new chef at the Planet so things could get interesting with the exes.
Bette stole Helena's light at the first board meeting that Helena attended.
Next week: Shane tells Carmen that it's hard to be around her and Jenny. Jenny sees them talking about her on the camera set up at Mark's. Bette and Tina may get back together.
