Previously, on The L Word. . .

Jenny goes to a strip club to get a job. She also speaks in Hebrew (I'm guessing) while looking through family pictures, etc.

Bette brings her dad to her house and seems to be in denial about his dying. On the one hand, she says that he's dying and on the other, she seems to think that he'll pull out of it somehow. Her boss stops by and pushes for her to take a leave of absence.

Rent is due and Jenny doesn't have enough to pay for her share and she refuses to let Mark help. Okay, she just went on a cruise--it's like, does she plan ahead? Make sure there's enough for the bills before going out and having fun on something like a cruise.

Tina, Alice, and Dana go to the Planet and run into Helena, who is there flirting with a gal who Bette had asked out a few months back. Something that Helena mentions in front of Tina. (Did I mention that I can't stand Helena?)

While at the Planet, Laura, Dana's ex, stops by the table and asks Dana out to dinner, which she accepts before checking with Alice. Alice says that she doesn't have a problem but she definitely didn't look like she was happy about it.

Tina, Helena, Dana, and Alice go to the Planet for dinner and Helena is flirting with someone else in front of Tina. Tina decides to leave because she's tired and winds up going to Bette's house and spending the night there. Bette's dad goes in and out of coherency and when he comes to the next morning, he surprises everyone by calling Tina by name.

Alice gets bothered seeing Dana shaving her legs before going to dinner with Laura. They are supposed to meet later, per Jenny's invite, at the strip club. Alice tries calling Dana while Dana's at dinner with Laura but Dana has her phone on vibrate and doesn't hear it.

At the strip club, Shane asks Carmen out and they're shocked when they see Jenny up on stage doing a strip tease. Alice goes home to look for Dana and is upset, thinking that she's lost her. Dana does show up at Alice's after she stops at the strip club looking for Alice.

The next morning, Jenny starts talking to Mark again.

Bette and Kit's dad dies.

Next week: Alice asks Dana to move in together and Dana hesitates and later says that she "likes" Alice. Bette gets fired from her job. Tina goes into labor.

The finale is Sunday night.
