When I watched you leave
And I cant stand to do this again,

Seeing you every now and then,

Watching you and her,
Giggle and smile,
And knowing what me and you were,
Lets me know, she’ll only last a while.
Before long you’ll want her here,
She’ll stay for a visit,
Then she’ll go back home,
And she’s no longer near.
Then you’ll realize
What a terrible mistake.
You have compromised what’s real,
For what’s fake.
