Well I haven't sent any in awhile so I'm sending a series here. I like to call
the group..."colors of emotions" They were all written at different times for
different reasons so here they are....
RED
You make me RED
I can feel it in my face
My anger is rising
Puts me in a crazy place

The color that means stop
I need to get away from you
Before I blow my top

I'm in the caution zone
Now get out of my way
So I can just go home

Today
Today i am ugly
today i am mean
today my blood is
flowing green
today i am bitter
today i am cold
i have an attitude
that's out of control
today i might spit
today i might kick
stay out of arms reach
i might even hit
just let me simmer here
set me on low
when the pot lid starts dancin
get away from the stove
I look at the calendar
there's an easy excuse
i could blame it all on
hormones running loose
but there's only one friend
really knows and understands
and when they reach out to me
I bite their hand.

Navy Blue
It is a navy blue day
outside, the sky is gray
inside, no one to play
just a love slipping away
My heart refuses now to breathe
It's turning blue, wants me to see
to be alone is my one need
so i can sit and feel it bleed
bleed you out, all navy blue
all the things i refused to view
love is blind, it's really true
and hindsights hue is navy blue
the whole thing now seems so surreal
it's left me hard as cold blue steel
time to coagulate and heal
navy blue is the way i feel
