The Pentagon's "Gay Bomb"

rainbow_thinline (2K)

Yes. Have you heard? I hadn't. I fished this article off of Gay.com's UK & Ireland site. UK and Ireland site, you ask? I don't know why, either.

Apparently, Edward Hammond, of Berkeley's Sunshine Project, used the Freedom of Information Act to obtain a copy of the proposal from the Air Force's Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio.

As part of a military effort to create non-lethal weapons, the proposal suggested, "One distasteful but completely non-lethal example would be strong aphrodisiacs, especially if the chemical also caused homosexual behavior."

Because we ALL know that gays cannot serve with distinction nor do their jobs, because they cannot stop thinking about sex. We are consumed with it, really. In fact, that is why I haven't been able to hold down a job in years - my lust and fervor for same-sex relations is too all-consuming. NOT!

We must come out, precisely because of this type of thing. It is INSANE to believe that people would actually believe something like this and then ask for $7.5 million to develop it.

As Stewart Who? says in his article:

Afghanistan, the Israel/Palestine conflict, most of Africa, Chechnya/Russia, Kashmir/Pakistan- all these war-torn areas could do with a bit of gay love. On reflection, the Pentagon has done a lot worse in it’s time than cooking up a queer missile and in many, many ways; it’s a damn shame they didn’t succeed.
