Dear Dykes,

Next month, my girlfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary. Five years. I want to do something special; I was thinking we could go somewhere romantic. Trouble is, I don't know anything about romance or where to go for it. I was wondering if you could suggest any locations. I'd really appreciate it.

Sarah: Congratulations on the anniversary, Laura! Five years. Dang.

Jill: Indeed. I can understand you wanting to go someplace special. I actually do have a suggestion. Have you ever been to Eureka Springs, Arkansas?

Sarah: Eureka! ... Springs.

Jill: Anyway, it's really pretty. I used to go all the time with my family.

Sarah: I've been a couple of times too. They've got a big ol' statue of Jesus there, right?

Jill: Right, but you don't have to look at it. They've also got shopping (that's my favourite), beautiful vacation homes with scenic views of the Ozarks, there's a lake, you can go horseback riding, and canoes canoes canoes! That's my other favourite.

Sarah: Or if you want to really cheese it up and are rolling in cash a la Scrooge McDuck, you could always go to Niagra Falls. But I don't actually know anything about that spot.

Jill: Let's stick with what we know.

Sarah: Uh... Texas.

Jill: This is going on too long. We should just stop. Go to Eureka Springs.

Sarah:And buy her something pretty. Good luck!
