From our house to your house try this fresh, wonderful tasting version of the humble everyday scrambled eggs.
First, for two people, crack four extra large eggs in a bowl. Feel free to use one cup of egg substitute instead.
Next, coarsly chop two large tablespoons of very fresh basil and wisk into the bowl of scrambled eggs. Wisking the basil into the eggs helps infuse the aromatic basil into the eggs. Set bowl aside.
Then, slice and saute with butter four medium sized fresh mushrooms and small section of fresh garlic.
Next, pour the scrambled egg and basil mixture over the mushrooms and stir as needed.
Voila, such a lovely fragrance and what a terrific tasting version of the humble scrambled eggs.
You may wish to serve eggs with a small bowl of mandarin orange wedges garnished with pecan pieces. Also, add a slice or two of any good multigrain toast and a glass of the juice of your choice.
